Luciane graduated as a physiotherapist and osteopath in Brazil. As a physiotherapist, she worked with patients that suffered acute and chronic spinal cord injuries, high-performance athletes (volleyball, football, and triathletes), and babies at ICU.
She started to study osteopathy because one of the volleyball players from Poland asked her if she knew an osteopath to help with his LBP. She got interested in it and started her studies at the Brazilian Institute of Osteopathy (IBO).
She moved to London in 2016, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy (LSO).
She is doing post-graduation to become a specialist in pregnancy and women’s health. She also has an interest in cranial and visceral osteopathy. Luciane is a practice educator and lecturer at UCO – University College of Osteopathy (former BSO).
In her free time, Luciane keeps herself active by cycling, climbing, or running. Travelling and her dogs are her passions.
