Originally from Brazil, Luciane initially qualified as a physiotherapist working with patients suffering from acute and chronic spinal cord injuries, high-performance athletes (volleyball, football, and triathletes), and intensive care unit babies.
Through her practice and treating volleyball players, she began to take an interest in Osteopathy and as a result began studying at the Brazilian Institute of Osteopathy (IBO).
In 2016, Luciane moved to London where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy (LSO). Since then she has also completed a postgraduate diploma in Women’s Health.
Alongside her passion for treating, Luciane shares her knowledge and experience with students. She works as a practice educator and lecturer at HSU (formerly University College of Osteopathy), delivers professional development courses, and speaks at various Osteopathy conferences worldwide.
In her free time, Luciane keeps herself active by cycling, climbing, weight lifting, and running. She also has a passion for travelling and her dogs.
